I like the sound of that supercollider, Skully. That is some heavy stuff. I absolutely love simplicity in drumming so I am adoring those recordings.

Well thanks man :D
The Super Collider is SO good. For that clip it was silicon clipping (most like a traditional Big Muff) with the mass all the way down (heaviest) and 2 o'clock on the mids

First post to the forum, may is well start with the music.
Venus Sleeps isa new Doom Metal project from the foot of the Dublin Mountains. Influences range from Space Rock to Sludge.
All songs written, performed, & recorded, by Sie Carroll.

Managed to coax a Bass player on board last week and currently seeking a drummer so hopefully I'll (we'll) be dishing out the fuzz on a more regular basis.

Cheers,
Sie,

some fuzz gaze I whipped together because I just got a little firebox direct input. Loads of layers of fuzz, verb and noise... Trying to do some sonic experimentation while being catchy and noisy. Just an experiment with layering of guitars. Main tracks are FZ-2 and ghost echo, others include the green muff, some with the fuck od, some with disaster transport and RRR. Layers dude - layers.

We made this ridiculous teaser for the upcoming EP (title: Somewhere Over The Painbow) of our band.
And I mean ridiculous: it's a powerpoint and the text is in dutch, but you guys could probably enjoy the excellent visuals of the whole thing. Ofcourse, there's the obligatory riffs in the teaser so you could always check it out for that. I will definitely post more once the EP is released.

Another band, kindof. Although this might be a one-off, or at least the sort of band that only plays sporadically and doesn't really record or practice. Guitar, bass, drums and alto sax.
