Sooooooooooo I was fucking around, re-arranging my board and what not. Turn everything on, I'm getting a FUCK ton of noise. A loud insane hum. Figured out it's coming from two things. My Boss DD-20 and my pp2. The PP2 all of a sudden stopped working. I wiggle the power supply in the back and it started working again. Have NO idea what the fucks wrong with it.

The DD-20 I'm assuming just hates all of my other pedals. I've tried most of them separate from my board and they are fine. So fucking weird and annoying.

True Bypass Looper to seperate some of the signals?

Is this the regular PP2, or the plus? I think the original PP2 only has 100mA on each outlet, but the pp2+ has two higher current outputs. I've noticed that the DD-20 works like shit when I run it on one of the 100mA outlets on my Cioks, but runs fine on the 200mA outlet.

If you have a plus, run it on one of the high current slots. If you have a normal PP2, you might be screwed and need to plug the wall wort into the courtesy outlet or something.

SOOOOOOOOOOO most of you know that my wife had her baby. Awesome, awesome times. She's just perfect! Both of them are actually.

So I kind of didn't really talk to my manager about the fact that my wife was even pregnant. I might have mentioned it in passing, but that's about it I think. I spaced because, well my dad had fucking cancer at the same time as my wife getting pregnant. So I just...was kind of in a dream land for awhile. You know? Anyway, I called out the last two days and they are giving me shit about it. They are letting me off, but my manager was not very pleasant at all. She told me that I should have planned better and that now they are down a person and it's hurting the business.

The thing is that this was actually the last thing on my mind and in all honestly I didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal. Now it appears I HAVE to fill out FMLA paperwork or I could lose my job. The way they count absences is really fucking weird, and I had to miss a few days because my wife went into false labor. Ugh...sooo fucking annoying. I actually could get fired just for talking about this shit openly if they found out who I was.

So I'm going to fill out the FMLA paperwork, take some time off and find another job. I can't stand the place anymore, plus I'm way over qualified for that bullshit anyway. I'm tired of being treated like I'm a piece of shit all the time. They suck ass.

I'm in school right now for Personal Training too. So come March, when I get them certs, I'm going to start doing that. It will be SOOOOOOO much better for my fam.

Anyway...just wanted to kind of vent cause you all are my bros.

Spent some time getting to know it today. Have the Markbass Octave pedal and the Photon Fuzz in the loop. Using the expression pedal with it in Bandpass mode with some clean blend going is giving me some really cool synth sounds. The new SA modulation pedal is adding some real crazy depth to the sounds as well.

FMLA looks pretty decent by American standards so having to fill that out isn't too big of a deal. Especially since it prevents them from firing your ass. I'd ignore the manager BS, you have a pretty damn good reason to miss a few days, big deal. That's what a manager is for, to ensure the place keeps running despite sudden absences. Tell her to do her fucking job and stop bitching (might want to do that in a way so she can't hear you).
