Most microtonal stuff I've come across on the net has been pretty shitty unfortunately, this album being the exception. The most successful stuff I've heard has been rooted in folk or classical traditions but if you want to start deviating from that it seems you have to a) really understand what you are doing and b) have excellent song writing sensibilities regarding that play between tension and release from the dissonance. Not something I think I could wrap my head around easily.
