Man last night was good.
I was pretty hungover this morning but it was wel worth it.

In other news My Boss gt-10 is having an issue with one of the footswitches. I ordered a replacement for it allready and will look into fixing it once I duplicate the settings into the new one. Anybody have any experience fixing a multi pedal? I imagine its a computer in there and not like the pedals I have built or amps I have messed with. Hopefully its an easy fix.

Holy shit. Church of Misery are fucking amazing live. You must see them before you become a mummified/petrified draugr.
Yeah I've played skyrim.
And yeah, I've seen the anatomical bodies exhibition, it was awesome.

Seriously though, all of you jump a plane and get to Sydney tonight to see CoM.
Clagg fucking killed it as well. Jesus they're good. All new material too. Those guys get better every time I see em. Couldnt get any pics of dase and I didn't get a chance to catch up with him, bit that dude fucking rules his aluminum fretboard.

Now I can't hear anything.
And the watered down black beer i had ain't sitting well in my guts. Fuck you, Crowbar, in Fortitude Valley. You wanna charge $8 something for a beer, serve that shit without including water rates.

Also, Tom Dalton fucking rules!

So good. I really really like the bass in "Shotgun Boogie", too. Didn't they lose a guitar player or something? Or maybe the singer changed?

They've changed singer I think. Current dude is the best frontman ever. Was crowd surfing this tiny venue and bendinghis body backwards so it looked like the spider scene from the exorcist on the low ceiling. He was writhing around on the floor before that, before getting up an busting out some 70s boogie moves.
See them!

So much awesome. So much groove. So much very loud self-oscillating delay.

Man, you always have to go to Richmond or Maryland to see anybody.

So we're slowly working on recording our stuff, one of the songs I've kinda been avoiding as I know its going to be difficult to get a good version down. Live, it's a lot of improvisation over loops and is easy to fuck up, but even when we mess stuff up people say it's one of our best songs.
So my idea is to get the guitar down and I'm planning on doing it using a click track. I spent about 2 hours on it tonight working with a click track and only got so far as establishing the tempo.
Our other songs are more consistent and while there is room for improv, it tends to be for a set duration and is a variation on a theme. Making a scratch track and playing along to that is to easy.
So I guess I'm wondering if any of you have run into a similar thing and I'm looking for ideas to maybe make it easier. We could do a live take but I dont think that would measure up sound wise to the rest of what we are doing.

Was gonna say that sounds like the singer I seen them with in 2009 but then looked it up and it is him as he's rejoined the band again. He's mental. In a good way.

That's what it seems like!

I have to drive around 2 hours to go see anyone, but not everyone hits Toronto nowadays when they play Canada. It sucks!

Thats like me. I have to drive two hours north to Atlanta or 2 hours south to Savannah. Nobody ever hits Macon which is the closest big city to me. We did have Between the Buried and Me a few years ago though, but mostly it is bullshit lamecore like He is Legend.

Id love to see the bodies exibit, never got around to it.

Saw curse the son, Sea of bones, and stone titan last night and it was glorious. Great piles of gear all over! Had to leave early for the last band sadly. Wasnt feeling so good. Almost lost it and ended in a ditch a few times on the way home But i made it without throwing up or passing out which was nice.

Found a place to live finally but its a bit pricey for me and I just found out how much obammacare will cost me (over 37% of my yearly income if I dont pay the fine and opt out) So im stressed all over. Today im just staying home from work listening to funeral doom. Guess its my turn now lol.
