i don;t think ad blocker blocks those, that's the whole point? its ads that are inserted as posts in the thread.

Updating ad blockers usually take care of them - when Facebook sponsored content gets through updating the adblocker lists makes them go away. They still have some kind of tag that signifies that it's being pulled in externally.
