Ha! Stoked you bought one

You won't regret it. One pro-tip: once you brew the coffee, pour it into something else - carafe, pitcher, big ass cup, whatever. Otherwise it just sits in there and over-brews.

That may sound mildly annoying, but you won't give a rat's ass about that anymore once you realize how easy they are to clean. Have fun!

The GrrL and i used it last night. brewed some tasty, STRONG coffee. verrrrry good stuff.

and yeah. cleaning was easy butts. only thing i was unsure of was how to get the grounds out of the carafe without making a huge mess. but found a tea sieve/collander that worked well.

Re: grounds, I just add a little tap water and pour mine down the garbage disposal. Sounds like you did some good MacGyverin' already though.

lol. we have no disposal. been meaning to get one put in, but The GrrL is SUPER eco conscious about recycling the right things to the right place, have a separate can for recycle, organics and trash. might not be something she's into?

hah. but since we HAVE been using this bugger at least once a day, might be time to put one in.

hurrrrrrm. neat thing about the Eva in our household is when i meander over from my shop to my house to make coffee for The GrrL if she wants to wake up early (for her), i now can do a 4 shot latte for her and a cup full of strong butts coffee for me in the same amount of time.

A friend once told me that if your shoes stink put old coffee grounds in them. Pretty sure that's wet tea bags buddy.

Save your grounds, if you grow plants they make great fertilizer. Smash up all your old eggshells into a fine dust and add that to the grounds and you've got some GRADE A green thumb shit.

Has anyone tried coffee enemas? I hear if you put butter in them first, it's better for the anus. They hate us, cause the anus.

I have tried it on bad coffee and it does pull out some of the bitterness

Found out recently my boss has a custom roast he gets from a local roaster, kinda want to see if they will hook me up with some.
Curious if it's any good.


I have been drinking the worst coffee lately, people keep giving me k-cups as christmas gifts
It's a chore to work through them
Plus I am killing the planet
