That ASMR stuff pisses me off though.
Like, noisy eaters make me wanna kill. I had a gaming friend that I muted on voice chat and forgot to unmute for weeks 'cause he kept eating chips right into the fucking mic.

i'm kinda into ASMR
like collecting long-ass stereophonic/binaural recordings and listening to them in isolation
i guess being into music and studying sound design/reception crossed over with 'other' interests, but there are aspects i find really intriguing because it's the sort of thing nobody would dare talk about in my uni lectures
i'd forgotten that makes me a weirdo
MOVING ON

Cannot stand people who eat with their mouth open.
On the topic of those responses, I get those from having someone else shave the back of my neck, like when you're getting your haircut all finished up.
Unfortunately I can't convince my wife to shave my head.

+1, that's the best part of any haircut.
Aw man, in elementary school I sat in front of my artsy friend and she'd get bored and "draw" stuff on my back using a finger.
Dude, I want someone to do that forever.

I just love the sound of scissors snipping in general, such a great sound. Mmmmmm hmmmm though on the back drawing too. I also used to like it when people kicked the butt of your chair because they were swinging their legs.

YUS.
Can't say I'd be down with the butt kicking.

Have this too, it seems to really confuse other people, when I was younger I was more sure of myself (getting older and not really having reached anything special yet) but then people would explain it as arrogance, I do find people to be more welcoming and understanding to me now as I grow older though.

I imagine everyone has this to some extent, and I figure it's only if I can't function normally that I should seriously worry

.
-probably the most laughable weird thing I do is abstain from getting involved with anyone cause I think I'd be too much of a burden on someone else, cooped up in my room making weird guitar noises and scribbling novels all day. Cause you know, obviously everyone else has perfectly pleasant relationships with no problems between either person, right?
With you on all this.
The second guessing in my case probably is part of my system (which I can't switch off) to make sure it's absolutely perfect / the best choice / whatever I guess.
Those moods characters are part of me as well, only I can also go through them hour by hour and I mainly experience them when I'm alone at work or at home.
Not getting (romantically) involved with anyone is also the way I've been leading my life so far, I guess also because I want to be sure I'm the best possible option for her, which I almost never think I am (or I have to feel it, the love, really strongly) as mostly I don't want to bring this moods characters burden on anyone else's shoulders.

I am reminded of a story where a guy held a building hostage with a box of Teddy Grahams. The professor telling the class this story was trying to tell us how diagnosis and treatment can help things from getting dumb, but I just had respect for the fellow. No guns, no violence and just to see what he could do with a box of Teddy Grahams.
In a way I have this too, a need for extreme all or nothing situations.
That is the core I think, wanting to be someone, to do something special, to be special to someone and really live up to it, not in the half-fashioned way things usually are.

Selectively eclectic, humorous iconoclast with natural distaste for expectations and low-hanging fruit.
An often contradictory reveler in silliness and absurdity who will laugh at most anything...other than someone who is trying to be funny.
Will LOL at moments in movies where no one else is laughing (except maybe the writers).
Big fan of deadpan delivered disarming humor so dry it causes nosebleeds.
I have a dirty mind and politically incorrect mouth...with plenty of room for my foot.
Very much into the in/tangibles of music...art, in general...and pro sports, which I have to watch alone because of my mouth.
I'm thoroughly entertained by subtle, unremarkable details. (juxtaposing the cheapest expression pedal with multiple hen's teeth type effects)

I can't stand hearing people eat but I love that vulgar "plop" sound like when you drop certain materials onto tables.
I threw a slice of provolone at my friend's laptop screen and the slap it made when it stuck cracked me the fuck up.
Or like stirring mac and cheese really loudly. Right in someone's ear.
On a slightly different note, when something bulky or heavy-looking falls and the impact is disappointing...I relish that.
