Jwarious, me no understand, so everybody is doing the International thing now?
I'm all good with sending international, no problem, but receiving International is difficult, even the gift thing doesn't work, Dutch customs are screwing me hard over anything...

Is your problem receiving from outside the Netherlands or outside the EU?

I've got one of those right now on loan from the man himself. Pretty sure there are 2 still for sale. I bought a PCB from someone else and I sent it to Dan for SECRET MAD SCIENTIST EXPERIMENTS.

Thanks for asking man, outside EU is the problem, even receiving packages from countries that are actually part of Europe but not part of the EU is cumbersome.
Such a bummer to have to be such a boring dick about it but yeah it's the customs and they caught every one of my packages but one this year so far, the minimum charge is like 20 bucks handling fees and that's without added taxes, sorry for my boo rant... :(
Well I can always just enjoy it from aside, that's cool too, it was fun last year. :)

You don't have to do international, you could just do within the EU?
It might be more likely to be fine.

Just remind me and I'll make sure you get someone in the EU,

I mean we don't have to do it that way but the idea was to get more international folks involved this year. Which so far, we do have quite a few!

Tris, in this case it is a GIFT. That is free!
At least in Germany. But i asume that this is already an EU law.

To all internationals: Mark it as Gift and set the value to 28$ Maximum IN THE CUSTOM DECLARATION FORM. That will work at least for 90%.
If not, i go to the customs Office and Tell them that it is a Christmas Gift personally. That is the Truth :excellent:
So Inside the Package should be a Package warpend in Gift paper!

If it is in a gift wrap inside it might work, but they have actually made me pay import fees for gifted stuff at least once.
Someone from a country with lax customs might be able to forward it to Tristan? I'm looking at you, brits. :)

I usually have to pay 25% in taxes, even if it's marked as a gift. Socialism :thumb:

Thanks for the support guys!
Gift, gift wrap, nothing works, I've never had anything lost yet since they find everything but they charge over any package more than 20 bucks (they'll read the 20 bucks as 20 euro's) and when they don't believe the contents of the package are actually 20 euro's or less worth they write me a letter and they charge me double fees, no way of dealing with them in person either.
Wow, UC, that's pretty bad too!
I pay 21% regular taxes + 5% import taxes and on top of that they charge me 20 or 40 bucks handling fees, I guess it can always be worse. :idk:
Anyway, screw this boo ranting, I'm in!!! :joy: :omg: :!!!:
