It was more about the objectification of asses.
It becomes difficult to justify once the attachment of a butt to a person has been acknowledged, I agree, but THE THEORY IS SOUND.
Ok, it's not.
Censorship and political correctness are certainly sticky wickets, I think as a community we can all agree where the line is. We have a pretty good consensus as to what constitutes fair game around here, I feel.
Mrs. Aen, I apologise if my facetious suggestion that butts thread rises has offended you and the other women who call ILF home, no harm intended. And I must have missed the racism and homophobia, as I've not seen any iny time here, although that time is much more recent than a lot of you. Was it bad?
I don't think I've seen any blatant or even much casual racism here. Really the only big thread I remember reading was one about Devi Ever and people calling her it (in a derogatory fashion, some people use it, itself pronouns) because she's trans. A lot of misplaced rage in that thread. But like people have said, it almost always gets squashed.

And the irony being this place started out as the Devi Ever FX forum….

I don't get to draw the line on what is posted and what isn't. I am sorry if that came out that way. I was just making the point against censorship as a whole. I am sorry if what I said and the way I said it offended anyone. Censor or don't censor, it really doesn't matter. I'm really just here for the fuzz. Everything else was a bonus.

No I think it was my post that caused the offence. I was too specific in my wording.

Nah man, it's all good.
If Mrs. Aen doesn't like the notion, and as others have also voiced their opinion against it, then it's all cool. I don't think we're censoring each other we're just telling each other as a community what we think is cool and what is not so hot. Personally, I didn't think that the thread on question objectified women beyond the point of ogling butts, which admittedly is still pretty objectifying, but from memory it didn't turn into a bunch of dudes talking negative shit about women's bodies and critiquing them etc ( if it did, I don't recall that, my memory is fairly awful though). Again, I haven't witnessed that around here, but maybe it has been a problem in times past. Mostly that thread was about celebrating one of the many awsome elements of the human form. Which again, straight guys get so wrong so often and is still a bit sexist, but mostly emanates vibes of lame as opposed to vibes of misogyny. Like everyone has said though, if it's not cool with some people, we should definitely consider the impact of that. As long as we continue to be up front and adult about shit and discuss things in the way we do then this place will be fine. It's healthy to discuss and argue and resolve where possible, that's the beauty of free speech and with it comes learning.
Ok end of rant.
