Well, they were drawn by studying many different pictures and not by having access to them. If you are still interested I'd be happy to share what I came up with.

EDIT: I got to work to fix the error and used a few more reference points(known dimensions) to get closer to them Green 4x15 cabs. Will share my work when done.

Also my 212 115 cab is completed:

not to be "that guy", take this more as a hacktip

the drywall screws to hold on the logo, look. . . unrefined.

maybe a panhead screw instead of a cabinet screw?

that's all I got, other then that it looks fab.

just that stuck out as something to make it look more like a polished product

Update and progress pics.

I am also a fan of the wet look. Going kinda extreme on this one and using a 2 part epoxy finish. It's the kind of stuff you probably have seen on wood bar tops or restaurant tables. you mix it, pour it and spread it.

Making sure the surface is level and taping off to prevent runs and important things being sealed.

Image

Pour it on and spread. I'm using a bondo spreader thingy available at autobody store. an old credit card also works well.

Image

You can see an allready cured section to the right. it does not dry totally level unless you pour an extremely thick coat. You can sand and polish it though so thats the route I am going.

Image

the taped off section will look the same as it does now after curing. I will then do another coat to level any low spots so that it wiill sand flat prior to final wetsand and polish.

hahahahaha  , they are flathead finished screws. they aren't drywall screws at all. I only use the drywall screws for the interior for holding on the baffle. But thanks for the suggestion though apparently it doesn't look like the finished screws. But yea, at .56 a screw I would hope it would be a bit more noticeable. :grumpy:
I used panhead on my other cabs and I actually didn't like them as much I wanted the more flat look instead of the 4 little bumps on them

But thanks! Glad you dig on it other than my screws not looking right.

1960's Utahs and the 15, while I'm not exactly sure what it is, I pulled it from the Kustom 215 tuck n roll i bought and wasn't working. the other 15 was shot which was breaking the circuit but this one was fine. I was looking up to see what it was cause it's supposed to be original to the cab but I can't be certain about that.

Very relevant to my interests...
The butcher I just got needed some work right off the bat so I had it out, I swear that headshell weighs as much as the amp itself! I mean, It's a tank and all but I dont think it needs to be bullet resistant.

They built it assuming that all the musicians are clumsy stoners and will probably be dropping them on the ground pretty often.

yeah -- same headshell. it's a fucking bitch. the butcher and vtm are both sized the same as the 5150. it used to be that you could order the headshell from peavey but last time i tried they said no.
