Thanks, guys, haven't tried any of those yet.

I think the common screwdriver is probably the easiest. So, I'll try that first. Thanks again, Scruf.

I like the way you think.

So, yeah, I tried it that way today still into the Airline.

Tried lots of different combinations of those pedals. From what I'm continuing to hear, the Soul Food is thinner sounding than the others, it seems not to be passing as full a spectrum of frequencies, it's also brighter. Crunchier. Stack fine into a fuzz like the Wildcat, but may get a bit muddy. And as I've mentioned before, the more cluttered your signal, the less the differences between the Soul Food and the Klon & Klone become apparent.

I think I might paint a horsey on the Soul Food

Here's what one of the nicer dudes on TGP did to his Soul Food:

I'm not sure if it's a total rehouse or if he just upgraded some components.

Similar results into the Pignose. The Soul Food still sounded a little bit harsher though. These circuits sound most similar stacked into another gain pedal into a solid state amp. (As you would kinda expect.) I was able to dial in some very close sounds. Again, for the money, the Soul Food isn't that bad.

What I'd really like to see is for EHX to make a bass version of the Soul Food. (You hear that, Skibic?) I'd play a guitar through it.

No problem, univalve, you're welcome. It's been pretty fun (except for still not being able to get the bottom plate off).

Thanks for initiating this whole thing.
