Daredevil was awful from what I remember...and it made a spin off of an even worse movie (elektra). I imagine batman will be like DD, just with a black suit.

I've already said that I thought he was good in The Town, Argo and Good Will Hunting. He was decent in Sum of All Fears and all of the Kevin Smith movies. He was really good for the 10 whole minutes he was in Boiler Room.

He's also been in some atrociously awful shit. And I'm not forgiving any of it. But he has been good in things.

And seriously... why the bane voice there must be a real reason for that, was Nolan just seeing how much he could take the piss and get away with it? If so he's a legend.
