who framed roger rabbit is another fucking awesome movie. groundbreaker for a big budget flick incorporating live action and animation.rustywire wrote:Incredibles ended in a prime spot for sequels...and it was one of the better animated movies in the past decade. Plus SAMUEL L JACKSON!space6oy wrote:i haven't seen despicable me. good animated flicks rule. i'm sad there hasn't been a sequel to the incredibles yet... nor wall-e...
Wall-E ended where any subsequent movies would probably be a preachy, crushing bore.
Pretty safe to say that test audiences would reject a premise of cleaning the polluted planet and the life lessons/misadventures that come with it for 90min or more...
Every Shrek and Toy Story (excluding the first ones) have been nothing but merchandizing vehicles for dozens of cross-brand promotion.
Cars didn't need a sequel....or 2....either...especially without Paul Newman & George Carlin.
WTF. Oliver & Company and Who Framed Roger Rabbit are not overrated.Blackened Soul wrote:alien vs predator

And Meet The Robinsons is extremely underrated...as is The Incredibles, apparently...
yes, fucked up dude, but he has some great flicks. the ninth gate is one of my favorites. death and the maiden is fantastic too. ghost writer was good. the pianist was good. rosemary's baby was good until the ending, fucking hated the ending...behndy wrote:ugh. fuck Polanski. in his child raping little ass.
..... and even without the director being an evil thing that should die impaled on a phallus half his body weight, i thought China Town was boring.
you and i suh, have different tastes in movies.
HUG ME YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD.
the non-animated transformers flicks are repulsive. hate them so much for doing that.sonidero wrote:Transformers, Fast and Whatever, Johnny Depp, Will Farrell, and Tyler Perry all need to leave now...

wall-e to me was the best, but the others are just not very interesting to me, and I hate Randy Newman songs, if you like them then cool, it's just not me. And While I LOVE the underworld movies, the werewolf parts aren't still as amazing as what I hope some day someone will do with the ideaspace6oy wrote:that sucks man, sorry to hear it. so many pixars i think were good...
