I'm a little out of the aftershave game, but I think I'm gonna pick up a bottle of the stuff I posted on the last page.

Re: The shaving thread
I've been using this C.O. Bigelow (made by Proraso) stuff that I get at Bath & Body Works:

Re: The shaving thread
Since nobody's got any advice for me here, I've decided to buy some more Astra blades (even though I still haven't even tried the Feathers that the_carl sent. I can't imagine liking them more than the Astras.)
I'm also gonna grab some of that aftershave I posted a pic of. So, I'll let you guys know what I think of it if you're interested.
EDIT: The Astras are out of stock.

Re: The shaving thread
Thanks, the_carl, I ordered from West Coast Shaving because there were a few other things I needed to pick up.
$10 is cheap for a 100 pack. They're $18 at WCS.
I ended up adding a 5 pack of Derby blades to my order just to try 'em out. I'll probably use 'em before I switch over to trying the Feathers. Thanks again.

Re: The shaving thread
Switched to a safety razor. Carved my face up like a turkey. Bled like a stuck pig. Will try again in two days.

There's a good choice there.

I never tried safety razor. I like two blade razor. So the Sensor Excel is great for me.
As for the aftershave I would love to try one of these (but they are kind of expensive)

Re: The shaving thread
That does look like a pretty nice website.
That first aftershave looks great too. If you try it, syl, please, let us know what you think.

Re: The shaving thread
Since this is the grooming section... are you using some fancy face wash and moisturizer, sunscreen, etc?
Me I just wash my face with Spectro, no moisturizer, no sunscreen.

Re: The shaving thread
The Leap?
It's a pretty good quality soap and I think it smells nice. It gets me clean.
One of the ingredients is shea butter. So, there's the moisturizing element too.

Re: The shaving thread
You're welcome. Yeah, I'd say it's mild. It's definitely simple, not a lot of ingredients. Pretty much just the essentials.
In the past, I've used seaweed soaps. Those can be irritating, the seaweed scrubs the skin right off.
