this is EXACTLY how I feel about mine  I considered buying another DD7 at a point just for the looper. having two loopers is too fun

It's so useless for most applications but goddamn I love looping on the El Capistan. You can get that whole Frippertronics vibe with the loops disintegrating in the background as you add new layers, so much fun. Really want a ditto as well though because if I loop on the El Cap then I have no delay

Looping was my favorite thing about the el Cap. If Strymon made a fully featured looper, taking tendancies from the Boomerang III but with an options for wow & flutter and tape age....

Hell yeah, I would buy that. I really want something with speed, filter and reverse functions like on the SMMH but, yknow, without the shitty interface and volume drop. That pedal could have been so good damnit!

I just bought a ditto. It's size was the deciding factor, but I think it should be great for what I plan to use it for which is just like screwing around by myself.

My bandmate and I just ordered a pair of Boomerang III loopers. We'll use those to loop guitar in sync to a Macbook running mainstage.

Yes. Mainstage will serve as a drum machine and will be outputing midi beat clock information to the Boomerangs so they stay in perfect sync.with each other and the drum track as well.

Etherealness is effing going live. :!!!:

that's awesome! the sync thing works well? I've been really interested in getting this type of thing locked up for my band!

From what I"ve gathered and tested with other pedals accepting midi tempo clock info (Timeilne) it works a charm :thumb:

I'll report ASAP.

Anyone try out a Pigtronix Infinity Looper yet? I'm real interested especially after these two clips:

I have one and it is super easy to use. I am selling it because of an expensive purchase, I am getting another one in the fall.

I've mostly just played around with loopers (headrush, DD-20 (which is what I have now), SMMWH, DL-4), but the ease of use of the Infinity looper has my piked interest. The price is a bit tall though.
