As for the big serious issue...ILF continues to be one of the least moderated gear forums around.

ILF management didn't sanction or encourage any stealth post editing. I can guarantee it wont happen again, and it only happened to SR (right or not, someone decided to fuck with a fuck-wither...I believe it was done in good fun, and drugs may have been involved. Haha. Regardless, it won't happen again).

How'd someone have secret modding abilities? There are actually almost 10 users who have upgraded user accounts for one reason or another--to moderate, perform forum maintenance, resyncing, edit forum descriptions, move threads, etc. Their accounts aren't upgraded for the sake of sneakiness--they're upgraded cause they help maintain ILF. This place runs better with them.

I've made it clear to SR that it wouldn't happen again, but it's his choice to not return, as it was his choice to be banned (he asked. Though I personally don't ban people by request, other mods here are welcome to oblige).

Also, I like Spacey but nobody here can pretend like he wasn't asking for it. He would've been banned from any other forum ages ago, the fact that someone tried to get his goat is complete fair play considering how abrasive he chose to be.

I didn't forget any part.

My points were:
1. Wasn't me.
2. Didn't approve it.
3. One altered post, happened to one single person.
4. Won't happen again.
5. I looked into it, it didn't happen due to any personal vendetta.
6. SR left by choice, I personally welcomed him back, he's not coming back for now.

You want me to out the person who did it? Give them a public spanking? Neither seems appropriate, given the points above.

Also, I completely stand by mods choosing to delete posts, remove statements, avatars, or anything else they decide is inappropriate.

i'm entirely aware of that. i'm merely stating my opinion. however, i understand that people in South Korea are organizing a movement to boycott I Love Fuzz due to its unfair treatment of posters; i can't confirm that, though, due to a lack of non-ILF-associated documentary links.

I see yr avatar ...also,I don't see how it'd be deemed inappropriate or offensive,so I don't think that anyone would delete it. And to the best of my knowledge,Gunner,PP,or MM have a problem with you,so deleting deleting yr 'tar prolly ain't on their agendas. Could be yr comp's acting kinda wonky...

Yeah, there's like a 90% chance it's more like a resizing issue, probably has to do with the upload guidelines. I just don't think we need to start some mod witch hunt now every time something on the forum doesn't work.

Also, I've never been on a forum where the moderators owed you a personal message when they moderated something of yours. I mean, it's nice to get a pm saying a post has been deleted or whatever but it's definitely not a prerequisite.
