They've only got rough demos, but my buddys band is pretty bass centric.
http://ainriail.bandcamp.com/Some riffs also. And lyrics about anarchy. But, y'know. That's alright I suppose.

hey - EVERY band with the agenda counts.

My old band gigged and did demos and shit for a decade before putting out a full length commercial album... which was kinda second album already, as some said
Thanks.

Awesome.

He may be adding some strings(read: me) to some things. He's been my best friend for a long time. He knows how the riffs go.

Soft Machine should definitely be added, for stuff they did without a guitar, yeah.

I like the band, when ever I hear a song by them in last fm. Never bought an album, never checked them in depth expect for whom were mentioned associated with them etc.
The guitarists always mentioned associated to the band must have distracted my attention from the line up details

... Alan Holdsworth, John Etheridge, Andy Summers...

Dunno if they were mentioned, but Ian McKaye's group The Evens is a Drums and Baritone guitar duo. Can't make out the tuning but it sounds like it could be an octave down.

Man Is The Bastard was 2 basses and sometimes a guitar, Eric Wood has turned Bastard Noise from noise only to bass/drums/noise once more.
Other bass/drum duos:
Thrones
Godstomper
Water Torture
Big Business (was, at least)
Suffering Bastard
Suppression
Gnaw Their Tongues
VENNT
Inerds
Geronimo
White Mice
Chulo
Burmese
Septic Surge
Lana Danagles
Other extremely low tuned bands:
Floor/old Torche
Teeth of Lions Rule The Devine (seriously one of the heaviest collaborations I've ever heard)
Monarch!
Conan
Black Boned Angel
The Body (you have to see them live to get the full effect of the 1000 watts)
Most of these are slow/noisy, but I hope it helps

Seeing The Body live is like getting a full-body deep-tissue massage. It's therapeutic!

Agreed! Last time I saw them, they collaborated with Braveyoung. Braveyoung got about 15 minutes in, The Body started to turn on his amps, got to collab for all of about 3 minutes, and then all of the circuits on the stage blew. So they scrambled really quick and got everything (except for the mic) back up and running, so The Body just did a solo thing for about 5-10 minutes with the dude screaming until he was blue over his amps. You could hear him CLEAR over his amps, it was crazy
