Ha ha ha ha - no worries at all, Ryan. It was perfect timing! It's funny, based on posts about when stuff was going out, I was thinking that my SS was either D.O.S. or you (just guessing, of course). So once I saw the Canadian return address, I knew.

First off, this has been a pretty damned epic ILFSS. Obvs there's still more packages to arrive, and I hope they do - it would be amazing if this was the year of 100% Santa/Satan participation. We shall see.

So, onto the goods! After the (short, but crazy) week I had, I needed a little pick-me-up, so I tore into the package right quick. Everything was so nicely wrapped, I almost felt bad opening it. ALMOST.



What a bounty of awesomeness! TWO t-shirts, one Doc Sci, one Summerland Canada! All sorts of lovely treats - multiple kinds of fancy chocolates (DARK CHOCOLATES!!! COFFEE CHOCOLATES!!!!), maple syrup, apple jelly, gummi bears (well, "Fruit Juice Bears," same diff, I think), CANDY CANE POP ROCKS!!!!!, scented markers, a nice little Canada pocket notepad, an awesome little custom random-LED blinky box (it's like an outer-space Christmas tree in a box!)... and A MOTHERFLIPPIN' BITQUEST!!!!!! Oh man... so much awesome.

But I swear, the thing that made my little heart melt was the note that Ryan included. Possibly the sweetest thing ever.

So I probably won't have a chance to play with the pedal much until maybe next week, but it's just so cool to look at, and realize that I finally have one! And I'm totally going to find a space for my blinky LED box in my studio, so I can zone out on it while rockin' the tunes. So much cosmic ILFSS awesomeness!

I'm glad you like it. I was a bit worried about extras and such slowing it down in customs. It's extra wintery inside in case you haven't looked yet.

I've been having lots of fun trying different ways to pronounce that city you live in. My favourite version so far has been something like murr-freeze-bra.

Anyway, this is the thing:



. . . The ring modulator side is a little weird in that it seems to only go into ring-mod territory in the very last quarter of the dial, mostly it is more of a tremolo.
While I'm away I will probably dig into older threads on here and maybe watch a couple of demos just so I can make it my bitch when I get back.

Noisy pedal in just the right way. I think Julius has nailed it.

I think of it more as a vibe that goes into ring mod territory, their take on Hendrix pedals in one box. It's a work of art and I hope you enjoy it emmensely.

The pedals tho. Fuzzprint is like the awesome gated octave fuzz I never knew I needed until today.

Got some kind of Dirge effect too. I think it's a clari(not) clone from what it says inside, but I can't seem to get it to work. Maybe someone explain what it does? Maybe I'm an idiot? Maybe it's Maybelline? THAT HANDLE THO.
