Yeah man I can imagine it would be. Especially since they don't roll out v8s with vinyl tops anymore. Where did all the class in the auto industry go?

:hello: Hi new guys

Hang out and join in the fun and all will eventually be revealed.

Today a giant 18 inch box arrived. I still haven't opened it. I need to figure out what that monster is going into but the legendary CERWIN VEGA 189E 18" is finally in my possession!

Of course there happens to be an ACC 18" folded horn cab sitting in my garage right now that tony is trying to sell to pay me for the Sunn 412lh he is now using.

I kinda want to get crazy with some baltic birch ply and build something bizarre and unique.

when you were posting about that before i wanted to mention those acoustic folded horn 18's. they're awesome. i used to be in band with a dude that had one and it was great. refrigerator format too, which if i remember correctly you are quite fond of. i was going to suggest you try and track down some plans for one, but hell, if there's one right there you can't go wrong.

yeah it's a killer cab nad def does the low lows, I might have to try it out. It's got the original speaker in it and works and sounds good as is so I'd feel kinda bad about changing it. I could always change it back down the road though. Hmmm

Of course this is all speculation as I have not brought it up with Copeland

Axas just make sure that vega has a sealed enclosure. Traditional horns with the compression chambers are kosher but not tapped horns or vented cabs. Im so happy for u hng. Also skips getting a 5150. :p

 I actually considered getting one again at one point recently. Pharaoh > 5150 was the original Ancient Astro tone. :thumb:

So I'm gonna trade my amp today orange or120 for a laney pa60, cash, and a BAT destroyer fuzz. Sounds like a good deal especially since I'm gonna get a custom dunwhich next year with verb and a Matamp/sunn 4 hole pre. It's gonna be good hopefully. What has the doom room been up to, any shows?

Be carefull with that destroyer! SO MUCH VOLUME! I actually built a looper with volumes for each loop just because of that pedal.

We have a show tomorrow :!!!:

The ACC is MINE! :P

A trade may be in order. I'd go for the 412LH, but I'd probably end up selling it and buying that 610 you just stole from GC haha

I think we will need to do a cab shootout and figure it all out.
Man, this is terrible, SO MANY CABS!!!
Kinda tempted to keep everything and have a more permanent setup in the practice space and seperate cabs for gigs. would be worth it just to avoid the back strain.

A lot if that was mike's input in the pedal voicing and mark tuning it. Mark has great ears and that's why it ended up six a great design.

Hnnng, can't wait for mine. HM-2/Black Forest stack into one amp, QM to the other. Good thing I have gigantor feet and can hit them all at once.
