My kid woke me at 5. And then my cat woke me again at 5:15. And then my goddamn alarm clock woke me at 6.dubkitty wrote:my cat woke me at quarter to seven. i love her so it's OK, but still, six forty fucking FIVE.
That sucks. I got lucky and the cop who pulled me over didn't run my inspection, because it wasn't technically legal. (Never got it inspected after buying it, so the inspection sticker wasn't valid, I guess.)jfrey wrote:Really stressed about my car right now.
I have to go to my night job after I leave work here, and the cop that pulled me over yesterday for my expired inspection always hangs out right by the entrance to the highway. I have work scheduled to be done on my car tomorrow, and I'll be getting a new inspection immediately after. I had to wait until after payday, and then tomorrow was the earliest I could have work scheduled. If this guy sees me again though he's going to have me towed, and I won't be able to get to work (and to make matters worse, I'm not just doing my work, but I'm also covering for the other person that was supposed to work tonight but can't).
Do you have an appointment card from the shop? Can you get one before you go to work? If he pulls you over again and you show him that you have an appointment scheduled and the only reason your driving is to get to work theres not much he can do. If he was to have your car towed and write you a ticket then you go to court with a receipt showing that the car was fixed the next day and you informed the officer of that the judge isnt going to be happy that the cop wasted their resources just to be a dick and because they had to pay out for the towing and then didnt get any money back from the ticket. I've been down these roads many times before......jfrey wrote:Really stressed about my car right now.

That's a good idea. Going to do that before I leave. The place is right next door.Ancient Astronaught wrote:Do you have an appointment card from the shop? Can you get one before you go to work?
