There is a pretty good one man noise project also called Whilt. I have their "She Walks in the Night" 7" and my son loves it because it has wolves howling in the beginning.emptyparadigm wrote:Also, I want to post this band for you dudes to jam -- WHILT. They're newish from Denver and are heavy as hell. We're playing with them on Saturday, and I am pumped. http://whiltdoom.bandcamp.com/
What did you sell?Ancient Astronaught wrote:Heavy is the closest haha not its not in excess wattage of any of my current amps but right inbetween so I have any situation covered. And on average for most gigging heads.
Ben, understandable on not needing three amps. That's my magic number, I have two in the master slave setup and then the incoming one for more sensible gigging and quicker tear down times. When I get a new project off the ground starting at the bottom sucks and u gotta keep the five minute change overs in mind. That mini board sounds awesome, extremely close to what ill be using and it seems alot more of us are going to that exact kind of setup for gigging rigs.
Ryan, no you didn't miss any BST I threw a bunch of stuff up on eBay on a whim to expedite this new amp purchase since the BST hasn't been good to me lately and it all sold in 48 hours. Ben luckily caught a post in another thread and pm'd me, luckily the one thing that hadn't sold yet was exactly what he wanted.

Ohhh the only thing sold off the drone boards was the supermoon, it just didn't vibe like I wanted. Everything I sold off was from the new rig I was building, but I then realized I wouldn't be doing anything I can't all ready do with my drone boards so I decided to take a different and more traditional approach. Just dirt > delay > amp, for quick and easy setup / teardown for gigging. this way I have my expansive and multi-faceted rig and my straight forward rig. This way I can cover any situation band / project wise I may end up in.AngryGoldfish wrote:Oh, your dirt is staying, then. I thought you were having a mental breakdown and selling your Skyhammer pre.
Do you listen to Mono?louderthangod wrote:I hear a lot of folks talk about reverb before distortion. Can anyone list some recorded examples of this done well? I've only played around with it for a little bit but I'm curious what others have done with it and I can't seem to find examples.
