can't find anything i want to watch. really digging Dark, but like y'all said, the music is super important. and i watch a lot at work, where i have too much noise most times so i mostly interact through subtitles. so watching Dark at home in my spare times.
Chris Rock special is good so far, but the other three things i tried made me angry at myself for ingesting them.

Finished Dark today. Damn that was good! I'm sad it's over. I just want more! I hope there's another season coming

Finished Babylon Berlin. Man, that got intense. Would've liked the finale to have maybe one more episode to get a little deeper into all the revelations and resolutions, but that might've risked dragging it out too much. Still, tremendously well done and one of the most engrossing things I've seen in some time.

i think Circle is still up on Netflix? it reminds me of Pi and Cube. fun sci fi thing, aware of it's scope and limitations?
shit. just realized they're all at least quasi-mathmatical terms. HUH.

I don't know for certain, but it certainly feels like the intent, like a reeeeally long standalone film.

yeah. more stuff needs to be like that. i don't need a NEVER ENDING STORYLINE OF NEVER-ENDING....... ness. but then 2 hours of world building that ends in.... 2 hours.... sometimes frustrating as Gender Neutral Bathroom Attendants.
coooooool. will give that a Smack And Watch It.

Anyone watching Everything Sucks?
10 minutes in and it's kinda dumb.
It kinda makes me think of Freaks and Geeks but the prologue is really drawn out.

I was just hovering over it a couple minutes ago. The nostalgia pandering in the preview was nauseating.
Giving The Ritual a go. Getting The Descent vibes pretty strongly up front.

Glad you got to finish it. It's crazy intense and very well done. Reminded me a bit of The Knick and Peaky Blinders but it had it's own vibe and story going on. Best show I've seen in quite a while. Maybe since Gomorrah.
Can not recommend Gomorrah enough. It's awesome. Everyone with any interest in mob/crime shows should give it a try.

I wonder how long until we get our "90's kids"/late millennial nostalgia TV show.

Fuller House and Girl Meets World. So, I guess...enjoy?

Yeah......

pass.
Also, aren't Fuller House and Girl Meets World modern?
So they just skipped millennials and went straight for Gen Z.

I'm guessing roughly ten years? We've been doing the 80s thing for a bit now. About 10 years ago we were doing the 60s/70s nostalgia
