I know that I'll be entering a seemingly saturated and competitive market, but in the Spokane area we only have one boutique builder in the form of ToadWorks whom I admire and respect,...but I feel like I can offer a fresh perspective and feel like I'm weird enough to put some crazy and inspired/inspiring shit out there. For the moment I'm going to work on my skills on simple clean boost circuits (like the GGG CB1) and them move on to polishing up some of the designs on freestompboxes. I want to start bending my own enclosures and working on designing my own circuits and improve or add on to some of my favorite designs (a more bass friendly Chunky Cheese,...perhaps with a clean blend,...perhaps just focus on the gated sound it uses; add an incredibly short delay to a fuzz circuit for a more mechanical sound etc etc).

I'm fucking psych'd. I'd be happy if it is self supporting and maybe helps to support my GAS.

I wish you the very BEST of luck! (for selfish reasons of course!! )
In all honesty though, the world always needs more KICK ASS FUZZ PEDALS built by KICK ASS BASS PLAYERS!!! :thumb:

They're bigger than an Octamizer, but not THAT big. The Octron2 is pretty big, but I never found a need to footswitch each octave separately, or pay $100 more for that capability.

Anyway, you should check one out. Octave up + octave down + analog + Foxrox build quality = :!!!:

No, Octron 1 is octave up, octave down, and direct signal all on at the same time. One knob on the front to control the level of each. Internal controls to adjust the gain and tone of each octave signal, but those are pretty much "set it and ferget it".

Here's the deets: http://www.foxroxelectronics.com/Resources/Octron%20OM3.pdf

Man the Octron kicks so much ass, except the volume drop on the octave down. I know some people don't have that issue, but I've owned two of them and they both did the same thing. I need a BOOST when it comes to octavin' down I guess. :(

But it's cool, Octamizer + B:Assmaster = :omg: :omg: :omg:

A bunch of octavers do this multiplexer, OC-2, bluebox ect... I find it funny the dano chilidog is basically a OC-2 clone and has more volume  I've been though a bunch of octavers and still the MXR M-88 is my fave for bass, I have yet to bother with the new one they make though.. I want to try the Guyatone one one of these days.. it looks like a OC-2 clone with extraness :thumb:

All the Octave pedals are good at certain things, but they none of them make me completely happy. Maybe that's why I've owned 5 of the most popular ones twice and a handful of other pitch shifters capable pedals. Currently have the Octamizer and will likely hang onto it at least until I get a chance to play the new Malekko, Markbass and Source Audio Octavers once they come out/become available.

Hmmm...I usually have my octave down rolled back a bit and the other two pretty much cranked. Maybe I am just looking for less -1 than you?

Funfact: mine is from the original run; got it after months on the waitlist, plugged it in and was kinda bummed. I was playing more guitar then, and what I was really looking for at the time was more like a POG (which, didn't exist yet then). Almost sold it, then plugged it into my bass rig one day for the hell of it, and... :omg:

I still want an Assmaster really bad, even though it covers mostly the same territory as my Depth Charge. Was planning to buy a display one from the Malekko dudes on the last day of NAMM in January for a discount, but they apparently bailed before I could catch up with them.

Were you thinking of fOXX maybe? :idk:

Yeah, top-mounted jacks. It's damn sweet, still not really anything else like it on the market that I'm aware of.

Did anyone else make kettle drum noises in their head when each of those popped out? *dun......DUN*
