Anyone feel like they might want to swap a Phat Cat bridge for a humbucker?

This is the best pic I could find of it, but yeah, we are both rocking the classiest of the LP family IMO. And add the fact that we are both Braves fans, I'm pretty sure that we are indeed somehow related.

Hah! Nah, even worse than that. A church. It was probably the worst show I have ever played.

Dorthia does indeed rule. It's sad that dudes in this scene still do that shit, but I guess we can't help that the cascading amounts of awesome that occur when you get a)a woman that's into doom, b)she's into it enough to even be in a band, c) her band doesn't suck, in fact its friggin awesome, and d) she is super fucking talented, make you want to rail said female in question. Too much awesome to not be attracted to. So yeah, if I was single I'd probably be working by now beardless (and lamer) ass off to tune her as well. I still have a crush on Laura Pleasants though. Emilie Bresson is also cute as a button, and then she sings and crushes your skull with her psychic mantis scream.
Nick, that LP is the tits. Also, no pick guard is good pick guard. And I hate gold hardware, but the black colour scheme is the exception.
Yah, kinda want the belle epoch, kinda the echorec....still undecided.
Man I wish my beard had a resonance control, or a master volume that I could crank and get it to grow back faster and...with more grit, but headroom.
I forget that I can't be clean shaven with a shaved head. I look like a skinny-fat version of Phil anselmo. Like, nerd Phil.

Man, Phil Anselmo is hilarious every time he opens his mouth. Not intentionally, but he is. He tries to speak in this poetic grandeur that instead just comes out silly. One of the best examples is the opening credits to a Down tour dvd. It has a crawl like star wars and phil reads it/wrote it. It is too much.
I also normally don't like gold hardware but for some reason those black les pauls seem to be the only one that it looks good on. Especially if it is the worn down gold, rather then the prefect shinny gold.
There was also a cool coverage on russian circles' new album here:
http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/1 ... ons?page=1. Covers a lot of their gear if you guys are interested.

Brian, bassist of Russian Circles (and These Arms Are Snakes & Botch), is also on this podcast.

Listening to that right now! We are thinking the same thing. He also apparently just moved here to Brooklyn. I must find him and steal his power.

Busted out the old grim robe the other night for some pics.... it makes me want to organize my next show to be a little more....theatrical, or ritualistic.

+1 on the tarnished gold look.
Yeah, Philisms can be great, but they can also be excruciatingly painful. He's still me favorite singer though. Fuck he just brings the blues on down III.
