You're right , mate.
I was just being sympathetic to your woes of international trade on the BST.

I think a regional bst would blow.
Just put the region in the title of its important to you. 90% of all pedals I buy and sell are to and from the US

It's mostly for buying shit, not selling shit. What harm could it do?

What blows is going through several pages worth of threads, with only a couple that are relevant to me. I realize that the EU or like Pacific subforums would get less traffic than the US/North America would, but people who wanna buy stuff from overseas, are gonna check there anyway. The ones who don't, probably aren't.

There are like 6 of us in "the Pacific". Itd be pointless.
There are more Eurobros/sisters of the eurofuzz than youd think.
Most people are pretty understanding with the cross continental trade thing though. I havent had a problem yet I don't think, and to be honest some people have really gone out of their way to hook me the fuck up.
Like, SLK put me on a lay by plan for an amp, and whiskeyface was gonna do the same.
Goroth helped arrange an interstate AND international amp sale for me and there have been countless other tales of radness.
So, maybe shipping can be murder sometimes, but usually its offset by weighing up whether or not you can deal with people as cool locally, selling the weird shit you need locally for an ILF price.
So 99 times out of 100 the answer is "no, you won't find that local, at that price, without a whole bunch of bullshit to deal with".

I can't see Youtube videos here. I only see a white box, clicking on it does nothing. Pretty sure my Flash is current version, maybe too current?
This is the only website I visit where I have this problem, started noticing it about 3 months ago or so (I forget, but it's not a new problem, just never got around to asking about it).

Thanks... I'm still using 10.9.5 (Mavericks) I dunno if I can upgrade this machine (2009 power mac). This is the only website where I have this issue though, kind of weird.

Most people will ship overseas if you pay shipping FYI. I do it, and see a ton that will. It's only a few folks that won't from what I've seen, and I'm not even sure why. I've yet to have a package lost (knock on wood) that went overseas. I've shipped thousands of things too. Soooooooooooo...yea we don't need international b/s/t.
ILD is stupid. Doom is stupid. So is your face. There I said my own come back. hah

I guess you're talking to me jwar? The reason why I wanted a divided BST, is not because I can't get people to ship from the US. It's that I have to pay 25% on top of the price and shipping. Add to that a 28$ fee for the Danish postal service to process the package. So, buying from overseas only makes sense if something is super cheap and/or unique. I have no issues buying/selling from/to non-EU countries apart from the ridiculous taxes.
