I agree, the doomunity kicks ass.

In other news. I MODDED MY DL4

BY MYSELF.

I can make a guitar from piles of wood no problem, but wires and switches piss me off. It took a while but I did all the DRASP mods and its pretty cool now. Im actually gnna use it now. got blue white and orange lights too, some new colors to the board :)

Pics eventually.
I make guitars and stuff, check it out at...

I like it, Gibson did a good thing? :wha?: :idk:

On the Doomunity, Yeah, just awesome people everywhere I turn. I think part of it is the lack of financial motivation. Lets face it, even the bigger bands are not getting rich. So people get into this and stay into it out of passion. When everything is a labor of love things tend to be way cooler. I cant wait to show off the t-shirts we are getting done, I did a video for a band, one of them did artwork for us in return, and the guy who will be doing the printing is also in a third band, and from his communication with me, he's all about doing it right. Just a fucking cool thing all around.

Mean while the rest of the country gets smiley cyrus. :picard:

I agree with the doom / stoner community being generally full of pretty rad people that are always down to help out. I'm glad to be a part of it. ILoveDoomRoomFEST would be awesome.

I've got a few things that I have been working on that are finally starting to come together. Can't say too much because I don't wanna jinx anything but I am pretty pumped about it.

See, anarchism can work. Fuck capitalism.

The DIY nature of doom and the work ethic of a lot if the artists is really inspiring, very cool.

This happened tonight. I a super rare chance I did kill the first boss on the first quest but then a fellow hero wanted to search some more rooms. He triggered 2 more monsters who ended up killing us....

Awesome, thanks guys. Avoiding the Hinott. Yeah d.o.s, I just ordered a whole bunch of parts to future proof the sovtek, so I was a little reluctant to have to give it up after being so keen to invest some time in it. Have it teach me some Russian mysteries of a cold war psychic death-storm nature. Fuck knows what that cab is, that's why I hit you guys up.

Another reason I love doomunity. That shit is fucking winning.
Reveling in the stokeage. Fucking winning.

All of that shit about opting out of the Miley Cyrus machine for some real passion, pain and art, also winning.

So I got hooked up with free tickets to Danzig tonight, was pretty fun. He's got Doyle on tour with them and they did a bunch of misfits songs along with the danzig set. that kinda ruled.
The Joey Jordison new band thing sounded like shit though. My buddy was blaming the sound guy but I think it was an over reliance on digital shit and schecter guitars. It just ended up sounding like a big pile of mush. Just confirmed my opinion that that shit is great for the bedroom, not so great for playing a live show. I could hear drums, the noise guys electronica and kinda the singer but most of the time could not make out the guitars and bass at all. weak sauce.

Huntress was ok, the singer chick kinda reminded me of halford vocally and a mix of Dio and dickenson with how she moved around. not a bad thing.

Would have been cool to see Danzig supporting some better bands, I mean some of his shit was more akin to the slower doomed out stuff than maiden or whatever but it was still fun.

Heroquest! I remember playing that game. If we are going to show some dorkiness I just got a board game called Formula D. I haven't played it yet but it looks like it would be a fun group game with the added drinking element if you so desire. And you can try and run each other off the track. It has a bunch of different boards for different race tracks that you can pick up.
