As far as beers go...i recently tried out Blue Moon - which i think is from san francisco...that i now my beer of choice. Also if you find it, a slice of orange with it really adds to the flavour...or just straight, taste good either way.
Cool I'm now feeling like getting a Jess P90, a BKP MQ and a Mean 90 and sharing them between two guitars and selling off the one I like least. Still works out cheaper than even thinking about a new guitar.
Not a big fan of the blue moon beer but I can see it being nice with a slice of orange.

I need some pedal trade advice guys. Trade my Jamman Solo with footswitch for a Boss DM3? I dunno how much those things go for used so I'm not sure If its a good deal or not. As far as delay goes, I've got my Timefactor but I would like a good analog pedal to go along with it. Really though, I guess the biggest thing would be flipping it in the end. I'm going through all my crap to see what I can sell off so I can put some vinyl out and the Jamman has been sitting here for about 2 months. Would you guys do that trade?

I was in and am still in a similar position. I traded my Geiger Counter for a Moog Ring Mod. My thought was that they're worth about the same amount, and the Moog would be an easier sell because of brand recognition. I think it would depend on when you need that money. I think the DM-3 has a little more vintage desirability than the Jamman, despite the Jamman being a decent enough looper. I have no idea what the DM-3 sounds like, but its worth
at least what the Jamman is.

I just went to PM the guy about trading and realized that he is in Europe. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal but I'm trying to scrape up as much cash as I can for this vinyl project. It is pretty damn tempting though.

Mate, you should try out Oil city pickups as well...his based in London and again relatively cheap but good stuff. I haven't got anything from him, but on the music radar forum there were a few people that had nothing but great things to say about his work. I'm considering his A8 pickups for my Les Paul.

Just getting back from 3 days recording at Rancho de la Luna. Totally spent, but what an amazing time. We got ten songs done- did the basic tracks with our heads and guitars then used a slew of killer shit from Dave's collection for overdubs. I'll try to get it together to post pics in the next few days.

Red stains is cool. I buit a chreapo les Paul once, stained it with black Japan and then went over it in cherry, looked evil.
Love that hex cab too.
I love your priorities, TJ.
Ok, so my friends are friggin awesome and they bought me a ticket to Doomsday Fest this year!

Church of Misery a headlining! And Clagg will be playing, which is always cool. Has anyone seen dase lately?
Also pondering trades, conk. Should I offer this guy my sovtek and some of the dirt pedals I was gonna off load for this?

I've never played a Hiwatt (always wanted to but they never pop up around here) and I really love Sovtek amps so I dunno about that trade. If your amp and pedals aren't really doing it for you then I'd say go for it,
Assface, I'm kinda jelly that you get to spend 3 days in an actual studio. My band is trying to figure out what we wanna do for our next release and which studio to go to. There is one studio in Atlanta that I've recorded at twice before that Mastodon recorded their stuff before Remission at that does amazing work. there is also another studio down south that my buddies recorded at that the guy has a LP Custom from Dove and Matt Pike's Matamp from way back in High on Fire's early days. My buddy used it on their album and their tones were pretty hot. I really wanna hit that studio up because I wanna try out that amp and we can all record live and then go back in and do overdubs.

No idea on the cab.
The Hiwatt will probably hold its value better than the Sovtek, so that's one thing. And it'll be less of a QC crapshoot in, say, 20 years.
Also, Blue Moon is owned by Budwiser(or one of the other big beer companies). Not that it matters, at all, just pointing it out.

I say No to that Hiwatt. I would say No to any post Reeves/Joyce era Hiwatt.
Its just not a Hiwatt.
