I'm also liking Shimoneta, and Akagami no Shirayukihime. I picked up ~25 shows but i'm not too sure about most of them, pretty early to tell but most will probably end up being crap. I was hoping Charlotte would be good cos it's the same people that did Angel Beats but i dunno yet.
Still continuing Shokugeki no Souma, Ore Monogatari and Kyoukai no Rinne too, all of which have been pretty consistently good i think.

charlotte didn't really look interesting to me, but you'll have to let me know if it ends up being something worth checking out.

Ooooh, new Durarara!? Need to get on that. I've not been in a series-watching-mood lately, still halfway through Monogatari Second Season. Need to pick that up again too. Then I'll just wait until the end of the season to hear what you guys thought was best, and then pick that up. Thanks for doing the legwork.

i just picked this up and got up to date with it since I've been in a reading mood lately, the text flow got a tiny bit irritating for me at times with so much simultaneous internal monologue going on, but i really liked it overall. will definitely keep up with the scanlations as they come out.
i finally caught up with Nisekoi too (got sick of waiting 2-3 months at a time for 2-year-behind english volumes to come out). feels increasingly rushed but i still enjoy it so mehhh.
any other manga recs? i like comedy/psychological/romance/horror stuff but anything goes really. i watch way more anime than i read manga but i'd like to read more since anime has cut into the time i spend listening to music wayyy too much.

Has all of Pupa been translated? The entire anime was completely fucked up, but I love Mogi Sayaka's drawing a lot. Pupa is a pretty great story as well. Don't know if it was dropped though because I didn't need it when I just bought them all.

Other horror stuff I like is Mahou Shoujo of the End and Mahou Shoujo Site, which are written by the same dude.

Also a vote for anything written by Hisa Masato beside the weird one-shot he did for Earth Star. I love his drawings.

I haven't gotten that far into it, but I've been really into Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi.

And of course, Prison School. It's a modern fuckin' masterpiece and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

i started reading Pupa and got to ch17 but looks like thats as far as the translation has gotten. not bad though.
