Just had a quick play with the Monobius and it sounds great!

I keep a USB DVD/CD drive around for such occasions.

It, sadly, is not purple.

And purple arrived yesterday. Had to pull out one of the beater stands from the closet and flip the hook for temporary storage until I have a proper stand for it (soon!).

It is both purple and quite decent, and lighter than I expected as well.

Fretwork is spot on, action only took me about 5m to get right, even if it may be a little low for my tastes at this point still (waiting to see how I get along with having another shredder-depth thing in house).
