Oh... I thought a doepfer dual vca and, abstract data triple vca and a vca in the Zzzorb filter would be enough?

Don't buy anything yet, play with what you have, and if you miss something you can buy something more. Or maybe you don't like something you have atm and you have to replace it.. Why an oscillator ? You have 4 soundsources already?

I'm happy they're at least trying to improve a bit. I can't stand spending any time over there anymore.

I mostly get frustrated that decisions like that get made with no input from the community and no warning. Letting people participate actually builds a community and they don’t seem to understand that. They just do something and then maybe respond. It doesn’t make it welcoming.

I agree, but have you seen any of the threads discussing the name in the past? It got hostile and sexist fast. So I kind of understand in this case

But seriously, yeah I did see previous name change discussions. But much like they’re calling the changed name a closed subject, they could have just declared that a name change was eminent and not up for discussion to then open it up to suggestions. Same for the logo/typeface. Petty things in comparison to the issues in the community at large, but things that would help nonetheless.

Went with a doepfer a-184-1 slew limiter, s&h and ring mod in 4hp.

I now have 6hp left. Debating on either a switch like the instruo tain or acid lab switchblade, or some kind of wavefolder or distortion... Maybe a 4hp one and a 2hp lpg, vca or mixer wouldn't be a bad idea...
