This is the Cosmowave FX unit from AVP Synths. The first batch is limited to 10 units and will run 469 Euros. On a more positive note, you get 3 dedicated effects with separate outputs & inputs.

More details will be announced later on the company's official page. http://www.avpsynth.com/

**Here's a miscellaneous note. Syntronik by IK Multimedia is now available as a free download for iPhone.

Also, PolySynth has been launched for iOS devices. It's a $4.99 download, which is inspired by the MS-20. Curiously they decided to call it PolySynth, while only giving it 3 voices. :idk: Initial reviews have been positive though.

I think Uli gave the greenlight to tease updates this week, in order to get some discussion going. Since that calculated move, those product pages have since been taken down. I don't know that he'll have anything ready for NAMM or not. His Moog ripoff still hasn't hit stores and it was supposed to be ready 6 months ago. He's been teasing an Odyssey for about 5 years now, and there's been no grand unveiling of that either. Other than his Juno...err DM...I don't really know that his synth line has got a lot to show, despite years of schemes and gimmicks.

I do like that devil. Kinda covers the grey (ha) area between the dark star and levitation/ghost echo. Thought I would be able to abstain from new reverbs, but this one hits a few sweet spots I've been looking for.

Red House has a new phaser called Midnight. The layout and controls are attractive, but I wonder how it handles slower phase settings for synths. The low-end throb on the vibrato setting is fairly solid. I'm not sure which phasers it could replace, but the compact layout is definitely appealing. Hopefully there will be more demos.

RnR Vintage seems to be the only dealer with these currently in-stock.
