The paint job doesn't look that orangey in person but I'm considering a refin just cause I prefer a darker look.
The pickups are a HUGE improvement and I also shielded everything when they went in.
I definitely recommend getting some of the copper tape and hooking up your guitar if its not shielded, Juts cuts all the hum and background noise out and leaves just the pickups.
Looks sweet man. What colour would you re-finish it in?
Also...this copper tape for shielding how and what do you do...?

Basically do this-
Add a ground from the bridge wire to it at some point, this may not be needed but I do it. Make sure the rest of your elecs are not touching it or it will ground and cut your signal.
You can get it here-

There's probably cheaper on ebay and whatnot.
If your guitar makes a lot of hum and hiss this will help out big time. they also sell conductive paint that you can coat the inside with. I've used it and it works well but this is easy and stores better. If you have a plastic pickguard or cavity cover its easy to cover the back of it with this as well. eliminates the need for a metal one if thats not to your liking.

You were looking for comics right? I posted a couple pages back one I forgot. Transmetropolitan. It is basically Hunter S. Thompson in the future. Awesome series.
At the studio they have a les paul special (I think that is what it is) from some years back that is a dual p-90 in that shitty yellow. It tears up. I was running it through a princeton with a maestro fuzz I built for the studio and it was outrageous. That little amp could sing. I know it isn't a huge stack but damn. Brein, the guy who owns a lot of the amps and guitars at the studio, had just put a celestion gold in there to try and get a different sound out of it since he also has another princeton with the old jensen in it that sounds pretty killer too.
I found a pic of some of the guitars:

Just got a free download of this album. Pretty cool stuff that I managed to miss last year since COC reconvened minus Pepper Keenan.

Blind is the biz, I have to concede I still haven't sussed out this new stuff. Too much pepper nostalgia. Hurry up and tour my country already, Down! And get that next ep out.
Was blasting eyehategod on the way to work this morning. That was the highlight of my day. Shit only got worse. Hopefully I get some kid free time tomorrow so I can spend it quality with my ape blaster.
I makes me want to play like jimmy bower all day long.
