We don't plan to hide anything from the kid but I think we'll give her whatever seems appropriate to her age. hi there. i'm rather new to the forums so i thought i'd introduce myself. i came to this place via TB though i'm not too much of a fuzz user... but definitely a fuzz fan! i like watching videos of crazy bass pedals but alas, they are not for me.

i'm 24 and i play in a synthpop/pop punk band from melbourne, australia. currently we're about to release a split EP to tide people over until we record our sophomore EP we've toured around our state as well as up the east coast of australia, but it was really just for the experience of touring and trying to get fans interstate. next tour we go in in a few months will have a much better reception, i'm sure! still, it's a blast going on tour and i can't wait to do it again. i'm also finishing up my final year of my law degree, so the future is a bit uncertain in terms of music/work balance. i've been working for the past few months helping out bands bigger than us with negotiating their music label/management contracts so perhaps i can get into that while continuing to play in the band.

anyway, i look forward to 95% lurking and 5% posting... there's a lot of cool stuff on here (specially by McSpunckle) so i'll be sure to stick around.

I'm 33 and play/record a lot of my own solo work and occasionally with friends. I've recently become extremely interested in all of the boutique fuzz pedals out. (Dwarfcraft, Devi, Death By Audio, etc.) Hoping to pick up a DC Shiva pretty soon...

JUST DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE. That's the key rule of ILF, and its been respected around here. Failing to follow the code makes the regulars (the owner, the mods, and the old geezers around) exchange looks, You know. Be good.

That's the most important thing. We've come by with next to no moderation around here on ILF, but I believe the past year has proven we might see changes in future if spammers, haters, shitstorms, and assholes mess it for us.

Compared to other gear forums this place is the Wild West and we've liked it that way. Speak up Your mind. You don't necessarily have to be civil about it either but mind being rude AND not cool/ not ILF, and also respect the brotherly fuzz love or GTFO.


AND ABOUT SPAM!

Spam threads... If You have a fuzzy biz, don't spam, wait a bit and soon enough Your new friends will do that for You. If you feel like advertising, do it in Your sig. Or contribute, be loved and get away with it - in the shark tank. Ask Tom or the mods if feeling uncertain.

If it's a hobby and You feel like selling old stuff not used anymore go directly to B/S/T. Be fair, don't betray others trust, don't fuck around other peoples threads, play nice, and no one gets the ban hammer.

I found this forum through Forever Doomed and this seems like a very nice place. I'm Mikko. I'm 22 years old (as of this day actually) and live in Helsinki, Finland. I like sleazy old horror films, skateboarding, tattoos, coffee and heavy and/or original music.
