Well, a ring mod mixes your guitar signal with a carrier frequency, which is generated by an oscillator (it's basically a really fast trem). Usually, you would have a knob for tuning the carrier freq, a mix knob, and an overall volume. Anything beyond that would probably be some kind of LFO modulating the carrier, I guess? The button might be a dry kill? Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, technical stuff isn't really my forte.

The carrier signal can also be another instrument signal if the ring modulator allows that.

True, I had fun using my Audible Disease joystick oscillator as a carrier on the Copilot fuzz that allows external carrier (Orbit?).

Lo/hi-switch maybe? And maybe between squarewave and sinewave? That's assuming he sticks with usual ring mod controls though, might be something way more freaky.

Yeah I think one is probably a range toggle for fast/slow. Would be cool if there are multiple waveforms
