Man I used to hate the shit out of socks but lately I've been finding myself in the midst of a... personal sock epiphany? WTF.

This happens to me now too, but only sometimes. I'll get a migraine after like one drink. I think it might have more to do with the other conditions I'm dealing with (hydration, stress, etc) than the specific drink itself. In general though, it hardly takes any drinks to make me hungover and the hangovers are harrowing. Aging blows (not a controversial opinion).

i've never really liked alcohol...i don't like drugs that make it difficult to control my body, probably because i spent a LOT of time being too sick to get out of bed when i was small. i also think that my lack of enjoyment is due to my body, or my brain, trying to protect me from the rampant alcoholism that literally every other member of my nuclear family exhibited. i remember hanging out with my big brother and friends drinking wine when i was like 12 and thinking "well, this isn't nearly as much fun as it's cracked up to be."

Socks to bed is the worst.

I have to wear socks to bed in winter or my feets get cold. But yeah I don't love the feel of it.

i don't like to wear anything to bed, but apparently my body is non-binary enough that i get cold feet like a girl.

i'll tell you what, one excellent aspect of being single is that nobody puts their iceberg feet on my thighs.

I'm always too hot to wear anything or sleep with more than a light blanket. Cuddling is only allowed when it's really cold. I was slightly sad when we got separate blankets but it's totally awesome now.

Socks to bed when you have chills from a fever is totally classic though.
