i.... believe the 2525 has less oscillators?
WHY....OH MY GOD WHY????
The 2525 is the 4545's predecessor, that's why!
"Back in MY day, we only needed one oscillator to make the crowd dizzy! Damned kids..."

I finally got to use teh Deluxe Meathaed at practice on Tuesday and it killed!
I think it's going to end up on my grab-n-go/sounds good with anything board.
It's so versitile, it definitely could be used as a suitable replacement for any of the 3 dirts (Centurion, Black Forest, Megalith) on my main board though.
Thanks again Kosta!!!

This was my haul from Schlatte (not pictured,...a bunch of trannies, diodes, resistors, etc to assimilate into my parts cabinet).
All Manner of treats from Austria have since been scarfed.

In the foreground is a wicked 3 knob synth. Sounds great on it's own,...gonna need to see if it can be incorporated into the rig some how (by way of an LS-2 perhaps). Switch over and generate some noise.
The two knob guy is a nameless Fuzz that Schlatte built for me (he built the synth as well). Unfortunately I've not been able to check out the fuzz. He and I are working to get it running. There is a loose lead that I will need to solder up and then I get to hear it. Let me emphasize that it's no big deal and we'll get it sorted out as soon as I can get my lazy ass on it (been super busy and exhausted after the holidays plus getting our asses handed to us on a nightly basis at work,.,..two more days [today and NYE] then it is supposed to be slow season). Schlatte was super apologetic but it's seriously no big deal. I actually enjoy a little puzzle/mystery.
Also an Epica CD. Operatic Metal.
I got message on FB by my SS recipient and he was stoked on it,...so....

Thanks again for the sweet goodies man! (A Montreal Assembly Probability Of A Fax Machine and some amaaaaaazing DOMA coffee...) Have used the Fax Machine at practice twice now for my synth drone project and it sounds fantastic. And me and the boys at work are digging the coffee muchly. Brought in a little French press for my desk so we are brewin' away over here. Good stuff man. Thanks so much.

Mine is still stuck in the mailbox I believe, apparently another package came that day to (a present for me from my dad) so either there's two in there or my SS gift hasn't came yet.
Either way I will never use the USPS again due to their complete incompetence in fixing this mailbox, someone was supposed to be here at 11:30 but no one showed, again. Fuck you USPS, I'll take my business elsewhere.

That's some serious BULLSHIT. I would go on and crack that bitch open... I would've already done it days, if not weeks ago. You 'mericans like to sue people for everything... Can't you find some weird law that allows you to open the box up?

Or... like.. the usps has to pay you some kind of compensation money for your long wait.. because that's cruelty.

USPS is failing because they have to meet all the needs of the people, while private corporations can choose to do whatever they want. Cut them some slack, brarsh.

Oh I want to but it's technically my parents' box so they did not give me the go-ahead
My mom called them several times today and finally they said they will send someone from Wisconsin tomorrow morning, Turns out only one person in the entire state is able to change that kind of lock and is on vacation
Glad this will finally be over tomorrow, I hope. Considering they just lied and said someone would be here today to open it

I won't be home until the 9th, I am DYING to know who my present is from and what it is. No word from the chick who is staying at my place either. I even wrote her an official permit to pick it up at the post office.
Grrrrrmumblgrumbl.

Mailbox opened

No SS gift though

I did however get a pair of AKG 271MKII headphones from my dad, they sound awesome. Still, I'm anxiously awaiting my SS gift since its the only gift I'll get this year that's actually a big surprise.
