It's a rat with a boost.

There's 4 IC's visible, I imagine one's for the relay, one's for the rat circuit, and two are for the boost.

I can recommend the Magnetics Effects Lonely Robot if you want classic RAT plus a bunch of extra eq, tightness, and clipping control.

This one's apparently "rare". Although, there's a new one available from the builder (also on Reverb) for $109.32 (plus shipping from Spain).

It does sound good, though. For $100 that sounds not too shabby. IME the lack of a blend knob made the original rats nigh unusable with bass, so this may be worth checking out
