I'm kinda disappointed that "Stretch" mode is not actually time stretching. It affects both speed and pitch. I haven't watched every demo out there, but the ones I saw were kind of unclear about that, particularly if they were running it 100% wet.

But that aside it's a great pedal with lots of options. Falls into that bitquest, multi-tool category for me, which is nice when I want to pack a small board.

Yeah, and it gets super crushed as you slow it down. Not clean at all.
I was also surprised that it doesn't speed up the samples. I don't know why I was expecting that, but I was surprised it wasn't there.
It is a fun textural thing, though. I like the reverse stretch with a short sample time and not too much stretch.

Hmmm.... speeding up the samples, you say? That DOES sound intriguing. Let me think about what I can do on that...

As you work on a Really Radical Syntax Error, I'd love the filter settings go extreme with lots of self-oscillation and the ring mod to have super fast s&h speeds. And maybe a low-pass filter on the sample reduction...
Basically, I want you to make an extra-fucked-up ILF-style version.

First up, I saw Headswim back in '97 opening for Brad so I gotta give you props for the name.

Second - I'm not opposed to that. We'll see how the NAMM prep goes but after that I might have some time.

In case you missed it, we'll be doing limited runs of these two colourways starting next week:

Also, 1.01 is the OG firmware, yes? (psyched about firmware updates!)
