See, I keep thinking of moving mine to fund 865 (or that upcoming Fairfield tape thing) because I don't much like it playing guitar straight through it, but I *do* really dig it with loops/samples/synths and I know it'd likely be a massive pain in the dick to get another one. Feel sort of the same way about the Possessed, though obviously a bit easier to reacquire.

When everyone's done posting these insane lists I'm gonna take the 3 longest ones and make approximately how many dollars went into it.

That's how we'll know who will pay for having all of our bodies made into cyberexoskeletons, once the time comes. We will fuzz forever.
UG did not participate but he's definitely fronting the cyberexoskeleton projects.

Let's see...

2016 Les Paul Studio High Performance ($1900)
Roland System 1 synth ($400)
Boss GT-100 (because having a second set of the effects in my GT-001 was necessary and sane) ($400)
Boss CE-2W ($200)
Boss Metal Zone ($35)
Sound saw clone ($35)
Another GK-3 synth pickup ($140)

I think that's it, minus the usual tubes, cables, velcro, and Satan.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

My humble list of 2017 gear purchases, in chronological order:

Maxon AD999
DOD Overdrive Preamp 250
DOD 201 Phasor
DOD Meatbox
Gallien Krueger 700RB-II (and a 3U SKB case for it)
Fender Rumble v2 410 cabinet
EHX Bass Big Muff
Squier Vintage Modified P Bass
Boss DM-2w
Ibanez TS9

Best: Maxon AD999. I love this thing!

Worst: I guess the Bass Big Muff... on bass, but i love using it with the dry blend on guitar.

I started playing bass in another band half-way through the year, so my focus switched to bass gear.
2017 will be my hunt for bass dirt. :success:

In:
Line 6 DL4 (#5) - purchased in order to decline my spot on waiting for the Revolver DX to show up...
Hexe Revolver DX - had to try it, warped and complex, could build a setup around it, so many features I wanted out of a looping device
Line 6 Dl4 (#6) - a gift for doing sidework from a friend
Tascam DP008ex - now I have multitrack capabilities, was only using a Zoom H2n for band practices before
Arturia Drumbrute - the drum machine I have been waiting for

Out:
Line 6 DL4 (#5) - went to a friend who fell in love with it after borrowing it, still have #3 and #6
Gibson SG Standard - owned since 1999, but haven't touched it in years after my EGC showed up
Roland TR-707 - didn't bond with it, sounded nice
Roland RE-501 - prefer my EP3

Bought a lot of pedals this year. Ended up starting a record to keep track of all my purchases, which I plan on doing from now on, for anything gear related.

Here's the pedals I bought this year, from earliest to most recent:

-Screamin-FX Clarionix Buffer
-Mooer Micro Buffer
-TC Electronic Sentry
-Dwarfcraft Devices She Fuzz
-Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz
-Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork
-Dwarfcraft Devices Memento
-Devi Ever US
-Malekko Charlie Foxtrot
-Alexander la Calavera
-Earthquaker Devices Gray Channel
-Devi Ever Godzilla

Sharing this list after reading this thread makes me feel better... My list is small compared to many others in here. Some of you guys are spending some serious money, holy shit!

Wood box, etc.

Assume it's the same guy (I got mine from a friend and didn't ask where he got it from).

No idea how it compares to the real one but it makes more than the price of admission's worth of sounds out of it.
