Nah, Tone use prepped CD's. Amazing stuff. But the Possessed sounds a lot like that.

Does anyone know the story on the black Raptios and Possessed that MASF has posted on social media? They don't seem to be for sale anywhere and I can't get a reply to questions via email, instagram, facebook, etc...
There will be a picture of a dozen of them but I cant find any mention of them elsewhere.

Those are super expensive merch items then. I'd be down to drive to Philly to get some from their show in October but with my luck I;d get up there and they would be sold out.

Remembered last night that I'm internet friends with Taro on fb and sent him a message. Heard back this morning and was able to place an order that way. Stoked to have swanky black versions of these two beasts.

$440 shipped which is actually a discount from usual prices. IIRC Raptios were $229 and Possessed were $269 via Tone Factor. I dont know if there is a current US dealer.

How much hate in the comment section? Almost any time he demos something unavoidably unusual, the "This Pedal Sucks for Robben Ford" party rolls in hard.
(I'm back and forth on my Possessed. It does produce some amazing sounds, but it isn't really as "random" as I'd hoped with my original intended usage.)

None so far and it has a perfect rating (42/0). I think a lot of his fanboys are too loyal to be critical, but then again I'm not always a YT comments section deep diver. I skim a few comments and check out.
