A Civil War and a Green Russian are the same circuit just in a different box. :idk: if it just about collecting then yeah, but if it's for the sound then get a CW and some other muff.

I like the look of both, especially the beat up green russians, but haven't had any opportunities to snag one or the other in the past.

yeah, i'd really like a magazine that highlights various tall fonts, and their rate of decay.
it'd be fun to really play up the innuendo and straight up make it look like a vintage porn magazine,
complete with utterly ridiculous fiction

Well if that's the case, I say go for it. :thumb: I'm more about the circuit myself and how they sound. I'd be happy with decent sounding clones in plain Jane enclosures. :idk: In a couple of weeks I'm building myself a Rams Head clone. Then the CW will probably be next clone after that.

Understandable. I can get far more range of sounds out of modern Muff-based pedals like Hoof or Musket or Supercollider 71' (I only have the first one, but still) than the old vintage circuits but the look and mojo is appealing. (Note: I don't believe in mojo, just old vintage parts with poor quality control..)

Absolutely. The pedals in this shot get used much more than the Sovteks I put up a few posts back. (Not pictured: Badascan... )

Of those modern Muffs pictured, benjuro, which do you use the most? Just curious.

Each is truly brilliant at what it does...but for low-to-moderate volume riffing by myself, LSTR and '71 Supercollider get heaviest use, OG SC and Blakemore IC Muff get the least.

Badascan jams with the band
