Joffery is fuckin' nuts. I was excited to see romance between him and Marjory (aka Marjory naked) but I'm afraid he's gonna beat ther shit outta her or something

Also this past episode was craaaazy good. So much shit happened.
Anyone noticed that the actor thats hanging out with Bran is the little kid from
Love, Actually?
"did not find it pleasurable"

I was absolutely infuriated that the wedding scene between sansa and tyrion featured sansa kneeling so that tyrion could put the cloak on her. The act of her not kneeling in the books represented that she learned nothing from her fathers death and the ordeal with joffrey.... She remains standing out of some misguided sense of "dignity" and completely destroys the dignity of the one person who actively tried to protect hers during the entire ordeal with joffrey. Shes finally offered peace and the protection of a decent, sane person for once and she spits it back in his face because he isnt pretty.

But why would that change make you mad? Maybe they're trying to NOT make the Sansa character such a useless petty piece of shit. I guess I'm just not much of a purist. I actually like about 80% of the changes they've made. I love the books, but Martin isn't infallible, and I like a lot of the streamlining they've done. And the character changes have mostly been for the better.

Did anyone else think the red wedding was....inelegant and ham-handed? I was pretty disappointed. Honestly now that weve seen the extent of jon & ygrittes romance im just like.....theyre botching everything but dany. I'm pretty fuck this show right now.

I don't know, I thought they did a damn good job with it, wished they had left the queen at home thought, that was a little much.

There is no way Ep:9 could have lived up to a book readers expectations. I thought they did a good job with the big moment and the buildup to it, but when you're reading that section in the book, it's such a kick to the nuts because of whose perspective it is coming from. When it plays out onscreen, it is more just matter of fact and you're not getting the narrators inner monologue.

Exactly, why show jeynes unborn baby being stabbed to death but change then catelyns last act before she goes all zombie from killing a mentally challenged adolescent girl to killing walder freys wife???? Its just pointless tinkering with martins storyline. I thought the blocking all around was pretty fucking awful too. Like catelyns just standing there and then someone walks up and cuts her throat like it was a fucking afterthought....
