I don't own an SG of any kind but I'll be damned if that doesn't sound like an interesting idea.....

Sitar strings sounds like a solid idea too! The behind the bridge pickup has some ringing along with what I play going on too, which is pretty damn cool.
The scratches are from the router and me being shit at woodworking. I don't even know how I scratched it so bad with my router

Really digging the Loudmouth in the neck. Also that SG of yours looks awesome too with the neck pickups and shit going on. Regarding the pickguard, I think it would look cool with a black guard and maybe even a black pickup ring (though everything always looks good when chromed up). Dulling the finish up was a great improvement to the looks too. One thing I love about my SG is the thick satin finish, it's so much better than all those shiny finishes!

I'm already mad jealous of that SG but if you put a Gibson SG style trem on it I might actually implode of jealousy. One of these:

If you added a second bridge between the pickup and the string-through holes, you could tune the sympathetic notes to thirds or fifths etc...
There were a couple of similar projects over on offsetguitars.

Some clips here:
http://www.offsetguitars.com/forums/vie ... 30#p928769Between the booming neck pup and the (2 octaves up?) notes behind the bridge, I'm really curious to hear what yours sounds like.
man, think of that kind of setup with a baritone... It'd have to be pretty huge though.

Heh, I already did that (after seeing that thread on Offsetguitars)! Here is the result:

I tuned it in fifths, but I think I like the octaves of the behind the bridge section on the SG more, although they are not perfectly tuned

Gibson SG Special. GFS Dream 180 pups vol & tone controls.
Sounds raw and trebly, fits me well.
