but if small builders are gettin raped
and feel like they have to take it cause its prymaxe
that would fucking blow
i love me a discount
but i hate,HATE "the walmart of ______"

Pretty much--the savings are always coming from somewhere, after all.

I think it's very interesting that they aren't shipping pedals in the box anymore. I haven't had the money to order anything from them in months, but the last time I did it shipped to me in the box. I've never had a problem with them before at all, but if I was to order something now knowing that the box isn't included, I would honestly pay the full 15% more to know that my pedal is going to arrive safely.
While my wallet says that I like their sales, after getting more serious with Dirge and putting out the first production line pedal I really understand how these sales hurt builders.

also, if recent history here is any predictor of the future, the prymaxe guy himself should be in here in a moment to chime in

It really has. I've mostly tried in the past to buy direct because I assumed it was more beneficial, sometimes I get things from Joe's Pedals here in the UK to avoid intl shipping bullshit and they're legit, the only time I ordered from Prymaxe was a Particle because I was on the waitlist from Red Panda but then they turned up at Prymaxe 15% off and I wanted one... NOW.

It went fine (though I felt a little bad when I got the email about coming up on the waitlist because I'd forgotten about it), I'll definitely try to stick to the policy of only buying (new) from builders from now on though, especially since all those I've dealt with here have been very good with shipping and customer service and everything and it's worth supporting that imo.

Prymaxe ignored my MAPs and my emails, so I'm posting this publicly...
