I did notice the VTF was mentioned as a top 50 TGP pedal somehow though, hadn't heard many people talk about it over there :idk:

Yeah I usually browse some threads, check out some pedalboards and post about ILf builders or fuzz in general, then I come back home

Also the emporium has a nice selection. Even saw a Whetstone V2 in mint condition for $175 a few weeks ago, really should have jumped on that

My methods usually fail on a grand scale. My VTF thread over there was not well received :idk:

sorry holy schnikes, but fuck that shit. wastes time, enlightenment over there is pearls for swines (other religion, you know ;) ) and better invest it in fuzz or familiy. The 2 FFs that are god ;) :p

Absolutely, the Emporium has a bunch of cool stuff! I just bought V1 Whetstone from Kyle modded to V2 with brand new enclosure for $200, should've been browsing the Emporium! That's one amazing phaser, like a weird modulation box with all those options.

I couldn't agree more, have since given up on any enlightenment quests :thumb:

Who the fuck buys these pedals? The companies name, the demos, and "press release" have me really confused.

Can you even have PCBs made in America? It seems that most, I guess what some might consider, insignificant electrical components are made in China.

you can get PCB's in US, not as cost effective: We need single layer for thermal shock and vibe testing some components and at small volumes they were like 18 bucks each, that of course includes all the engineering and such.

Yeah most electrical components are made in China and looking at the numbers it is hard to imagine anywhere else in the world be able to really compete, although as the Chinese become more american (material driven, minimum wage, insurance etc...) the labor rates over here will continue to grow (tripled in the last 3 years). Some people are saying the next big manufacturing capital could be India, but from what I have seen no company has ever been able to move there and be successful.

I admit. I loled at this.

Too bassy. :picard:

It's a little too bassy heavy.

The mid hump is a little too bassy.

The bassiness (yes they use grammar even when the words don't exist) is a little too bassy. :idk:

I'm here all night folks.

I didn't know that too bassy even existed, if it does I haven't found it yet.

.... : /

I don't like a lot of bass in my guitar sound...

My bass knob is usually at like... noon or lower.

I am the opposite, I love a ton of bass, when I was playing out I used a 2x15 and a 2x12 bass cab: just liked that thump you could get. Amps I like bass around 3 mids around 1 and treble at noon,
