Did not know that, even better. My gift is waiting for parts and for my wife to decorate and after I get paired with someone I plan to ILF stalk them to get something small and personalized.

There was a discussed spending minimum. Something like perceived value of at least $50. That's what I'm shooting for not including some extra random goodies.

50$ - 100$ was the deal somewhere earlier in the thread. That's pretty reasonable, I think.
I am still not so sure if I should try my luck at building something again or not. Until now everything was only half good. But maybe I should mod something, that should work...

Is it OK if the gifts are music/noise making related but aren't entirely guitar/bass related? Some of the things I am thinking of fall into this category.
I mean, if you really needed to, you could just use them as an awkward pick.
