On to the SIMMS-WATTS-PORNOGRAPHY!!!!
I was amazed at how clean it is, looks like new aside from a few minor spots. I do wish I had the faceplate, maybe I could get one made?
I probably spent to much on it but my negotiation skills went to shit when I started trying it out.
Yeah man, Iook forward to molesting it. Total knob-fiddling-abuse-party gonna happen in the dirt section of my setup. I doubt very much disappointment will be in the house that day.
SCORE!!
Yeah man looks sweet. Fuck getting a faceplate, it looks more like a piece of relic communist tech like that. In fact, it looks more communist than my Sovtek...
Haha! I hate it when you run out of bargaining power....you just gotta suck it up and whimper, "take the money...."
Dude selling: "Sorry, what was that?"
"TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY, CUNT!"
I am seriously trying to financially plan so that I can acquire a titan in the next 12 months or so now...

hope that SIMMS-WATTS makes an appearance on Sunday, though I'll understand if you take some time to work it into the rig

Was just blasting it to get the levels right with other amps. It'll be there

And yeah thats pretty much how the bargaining went.
Me- "can I keep 20 bucks so I can buy beer?.... Please?"
But then I got it home and

Nice! Yeah...Dollars for brews to jam on new amps with is always appreciated...but you did nab a tidy specimen there, there will always be more beer.
What page did you post your vids on the other day? I need some study tunes and I haven't sussed em yet.

Nice amp Ax. If you want a faceplate I got one made up by BNP lasers and they were awesome to deal with. I just sent them an illustrator file and they made it exactly how I designed it.
In other news my bands had a pretty awesome show. It was raining on and off though so not as many people made it out as we were hoped. Still an awesome show though. We got to "debut" our new song which went over well. And our drummer got to play a little joke on the crowd by busting into a jazz solo that morphed into the new song intro. We do not sound jazzy at all but the crowd liked it and gave a big cheer.
Finally, I got the other pickup in the mail and got to install it earlier today. And since it is a quiet nite in with the lady I had time to take a picture. So here the my new guitar in its new glory:

It feels great so far but I may have to lower the string gauges a bit to deal with the longer scale compared to the other seven string. But with the current strings it has a nice strong solid hit if a bit tight.

Yeah I never really like the shiny stuff. And I usually stick to the wood stain style stuff, but I liked this matte black. And it has a nice cream binding to provide a little contrast. I think it looks pretty good.

Fuck yeah, John! I'm glad that acquisition worked out. Looks badass as hell. Can't wait to see it in action.
In other news, I sold my Ric copy. Kinda sad, but after doing the math, buying that '90 Tuxedo Ric and one other yet to be named piece of rad gear, I had to do it. Sounds like it will be going to a good home, though.

Dude, that tuxedo Ric is the fucking bomb. If they made a guitar as sexy as that, I'd sell all my shit for one.
In fact, its got me thinking of switching to bass.
Totally worth it.
Unnamed rad gear ey?
C'mon, you know you can't drop that shit around here without piquing our collective interest.
'Sides, whats more rad than that Ric, and your bandmate's new communist death-computer (it looks like an old military valve machine from a James Bond villain's space dock or some shit)
?????

Classy man, black is never a bad choice. About to send you a pm about the faceplate.
