Hey Rog,

What handle did you go by over on TB? Don't believe I've ever had the pleasure, but welcome to ILF and here is a quoted post to emphasize the rules of which there is only one.

Bassus Sanguinis wrote::hug:
Welcome new guys, love thy fellow user like thy fuzz and make new friends. Remember to be nice and Santa brings You gifts, or enjoy Wild West moderated free speech and swear like a son of a bitch You are, and who knows - if You hang around perhaps Secret Santa brings You the gifts next year.

JUST DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE. That's the only rule around here. Yeah, that's it, what ever that means. Applies for everything. And don't shit where You eat either. We've come by with very little guidance and moderation in here. Follow the fuzzy elders example, always a good idea in a new place, people will tell You when You cross the line.

Spam threads... If You have a fuzzy biz, don't spam, wait a bit and soon enough Your new friends will do that for You. If you feel like advertising, do it in Your sig. Or contribute, be loved and get away with it - in the shark tank. ;) Ask Tom or the mods if feeling uncertain.

If it's a hobby and You feel like selling old stuff not used anymore go directly to B/S/T. Be fair, don't betray others trust, don't fuck around other peoples threads, play nice, and no one gets the ban hammer. :D

Enjoy. make friends. Contribute. Be ILF :ilf:

Cheers
~James

im zoltan from hungary
i have 2 guitars a prs soapbar 2 se and a schecter metal axe. A have a cool 50w seymour duncan tube amp. Its really filthy i love it. maybe i will seperate it to head and cabinet to make it easier to move.
i have had a lot of pedals, but i sold them all, i only kept the crybaby and the oc-2 cuz i wanna build my own pedals. Im mainly interested in fuzz pedals, i got here from devi's site and its really good that theres a forum for fuzz faces :)

i listen a lot of music. my favourit genre nowadays is stoner sludgey stuff maybe because of the cold weather. I play in a trash metal band. its not really the band of my dreams but i like fast riffs and beer so it fits to my personality haha.
sorry for my bad english

edit: i forgot to mention that i have an orange crush 10 at home for practicing and my gf to play some sleepy sun songs:D

I welcome the SHIT out of anyone named zoltan.

How's it going guys? I'm Evan, 21, currently based in Richmond, VA. Graphic Designer by day, man of many projects by night.

I run a label called Void Seance that puts out noise and power electronics CDr's, cassettes, and zines.

As far as playing, I've got several different projects, mostly just myself, but I feel that they all have different sounds.

The Civil Acoustic (ambient looping guitar soundscapes):

Llihje (ambient black metal):

Algea (black noise):

Savage Cross (raw black metal):

Ritual Stance (harsh noise wall):

I've got a weird obsession with Green Big Muffs, and having way too many amps. And I never sit still. Thats about it!

This is a reintroduction, actually.
I've been here for a couple of years but I don't know if I ever gave a proper introduction; everything's different now, anyway.

I was previously known as dmcmahon. The D was for my first name but I don't use that name anymore so it was time to change the handle. (Also, dmcmahon was a crappy username I tossed off because I didn't really think I'd be sticking around.) I've used oldangelmidnight for email accounts and other things since 1998 so it seemed a good choice.

So here's the current story: In less than two months, I'm going to be quitting my job to stay home and take care of our first born. I don't know if that'll leave more or less noise-making time - I guess it depends on the kid.
Here's where it gets weird: I'm a trans person who has been transitioning during the course of the pregnancy. I knocked my wife up before starting hormone treatments and I'll be presenting as female fulltime before the kid is born. We did this on purpose. I ask every chance I get but I've never found anyone else in quite the same situation.

I used to be in an Irish punk rock band. But that was a long time ago. Now, I mostly make weird noises in the attic.
I like playing a jaguar through a muff variant and some kind of delay into a clean amp.

How 'bout that? :idk:

Name's Micheal. I've toured the US more times than I can remember, been through about 38 of the lower 48 states. Toured Europe once -- Germany is so so so fantastic -- and I was a DJ in Tokyo for a couple years. No music, no life. All good times.

Started music about 12 years ago when I toured the states in a goth band. I'm primarily a producer. I play keys and DJ, but have been taking guitar more seriously in the past couple years. You can hear my work as a writer and producer at the Lakeshore Driving page here: http://www.lakeshore-driving.com

My musical tastes range from Patsy Cline to Chromeo and everything in between. My favorite bands are The Cure, Depeche Mode, and IAMX.

I've got a stellar studio with some great synthesizers and guitars. My fuzz kit currently includes a Dwarfcraft Shiva, Malekko B:Assmaster with pedal mod, a Devi War Horse, and (hey, it's dirty) a DS-1 with monte allum mods.

Started getting into boutique fuzz back in August when I moved back to Portland, OR from Fukuoka, Japan. Me and my mate had really gotten into Boris while I was living in Tokyo, and our project (which normally sounds like Giorgio Moroder meets Robert Smith) started sounding more fuzzy and droney. Moving to Portland (home of Malekko, Devi Ever, and others) made fuzz so accessible that it seemed a natural direction to go.

I used to be "hyperjoga" on the scene at the Harmony Central synth forums about eight or so years ago.. Then I got super busy actually making music and touring. Now things are slow again so I have time to chat and obsess about things like pedals. :)

Nice to meet you all. :hello: I'll try not to be an asshole.

I think that's so cool. Making weird noises in the attic I mean, but also everything else. Here's where I'd slap a smiley if I weren't on my phone. Congratulations on the amazing journey y'all are embarking on, and a retroactive congratulations on any amazing journeys that brought you to this point. If you don't mind me asking, do you know what you'll be telling the kid about D? I was just thinking about it and realized how it might come up pretty early with the littlun' asking about your childhood and stuff. Sorry if I'm overstepping any bounds, or if you would rather not get into a MY LIFE Q&A situation on a damn stompbox forum, haha, but I was interested and you've been so open and cool already
