Giving Robotics;Notes a try.

It's light hearted enough, kids buildings a giant robot and that's something we can all get behind.

yeah that one was pretty cool. I liked Gunslinger Stratos a lot too. only thing i've been kinda disappointed with so far is the Haruhi spin-off but i was kinda expecting that.
Denpa Kyoushi is like an otaku-themed Great Teacher Onizuka. Plastic Memories is like Bladerunner the slice of life animation. A lot of fairly derivative shows but not as much overlap as usual. Last season i kept accidentally mixing up characters between shows because they were so similar..

yeah, stick with it i'd say.
i dropped it like 3 episodes in then ended up picking it back up later on, it gets a lot better eventually, i rate it pretty highly overall.

Yeah, turned out to be a favourite of mine. Cool show with some fun ideas, and it's rather well-written all the way through.

Yeah, it took 6 or 7 episodes to get going, but was really great from then on.

It's super good, but you may be disappointed if you're expecting incest/tentacle rape/harem.

Also, I just finished Koimonogatari and I think it has my favorite OP so far. Kaiki is super rad, too.

Hanamonogatari is really good so far. The more I watch monogatari the better it is. I'm glad it's wrapping up soon, so they don't mess anything up.

I'd be surprised if Nisio Isin screwed up, guy is a fantastic writer. Katanagatari was fantastic, and Monogatari series has been fantastic throughout. That Koimonogatari OP though is absolutely crazy good. Love everything about it.

Has anyone played the Steins:Gate VN? I've been thinking of playing it lately.

I haven't finished it yet but it's pretty good. Just be prepared to lose ~40 hours of your life, it's kind of long.
