I think the face jacks are a really nice touch.

I used pancake jacks when I had my short lived KK, which made things even more crowded  maybe bullshit was a strong descriptor but I think it's not very user friendly, on the smaller pedals especially. Maybe if you had a bunch of them and you had really small patch cables it could be cool.

News on new/old MLs and the EccoDrone :snax:
memory/confusion

of all the pedals ive made the one ive experimented most with is the memory loss. i changed the design almost every time i made it. so all memory losses made before now are somewhat unique. the first prototypes which i made and didnt sell were so glitchy that the input sounded unrecognizable. this was cool but i found it to be to unreliable and possibly dangerous to other gear. i mellowed it out a bit in the following incarnations and got the glitches real nice to my ears. (glitching is a bit of a fetish for me). after a while i started realizing other aspects and possibilities of the effect and it morphed a bit. my intention was to get the best of two sides of the pedal which i loved. unfortunately i couldnt get the same levels of glitchiness when i tried to make it more versatile.

ive returned too now to an earlier design that sounds best to my ears. the aim of the pedal is to have real crunchy jittery glitch. i’ll be making a big batch up once i have enclosures delivered and wont be changing the circuit from here on in.

eccodrones

the other aspect was hinted at in the memory loss was smoother creeping feedback and ‘reset echoes”(the repeats reset after each volume peak eg each piano note has separate echoes rather than them all blending together as in a standard delay effect. i can explore this further now as ive broken it off into a seperate circuit with different aims.(the eccodrone) i intend to do some variations on this soon with wierdly modulated delay time as well.
Seems to me like my blue horizontal ML is this "not quite a proper ML but not quite an EccoDrone either" sort of pedal. We'll find out. Perhaps I'll do a comparison demo. :thumb:

This is an exciting development. He mentioned that he was going to be posting some more old pedals for sale in the coming weeks, I guess this is what he was talking about. I though he meant more one off's, good to see more production pedals available.

Yeah, I'm still waiting on a sub-octave synth from Russia to arrive, and then the Harmonic Filterizer and B-Filter from Rhys. Gonna grab that digitizer, hystronic filterizer, and ecco drone soonish. :!!!:

So, I placed an order for that ring mod. Just wondering if anyone has asked Rhys what the button, knobs and switches do? I'm really not familiar with ring mods, but I feel like they tend to have a lot less parameters in general. Well, I guess the Moog had a lot of options, but still, I'm curious.
